FromSoftware's catalogue of incredible boss encounters is a vast one, but that hasn't stopped some players from wondering how some of the studio's biggest bads might fare in other combat systems. Case in point: Elden Ring super-boss Malenia, the Blade of Miquella, has been successfully transplanted into Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, a FromSoftware title that better suits her particular style of swordplay.

Spotted by PC Gamer, the Land of Reeds is a mod from Last孤影众 (Gūyǐng zhòng), a Chinese gamer primarily active on Bilibili, a clip of which you can check out above. It transplants several bosses from the larger Souls series, including Artorias the Abysswalker (Dark Souls) and Slave Knight Gael (Dark Souls 3), to Sekiro's much faster action combat system.

As YouTuber Ongbal points out, it looks much better than it plays, with hitbox and deflect timings being rather inconsistent, but it's a cool feat to see achieved in motion. Parrying Malenia's full Waterfowl Dance combo while simultaneously trying to manage a posture meter seems legitimately anxiety-inducing, and we're happy to check this one out from a distance.

Do you think you could handle Malenia's Sekiro form, or is Sword Saint Isshin ridiculous enough of a boss fight for one game? Master the blade in the comments section below.
