Surprise! Persona 3 Reload Is Real, and It Definitely Didn't Leak

I'd be shocked if it DIDN'T come to PlayStation.

Microsoft really did embargo platforms again, just saw the official press stuff from Atlus / SEGA and there's only mention of Xbox and PC.

No way it skips xbox and switch. You’d lose 99% of the playerbase and 100% of sales

The Xbox showcase is making a mockery of the PS showcase.

So that P3 Portable remaster that came out recently is rendered redundant, no?

In other news, that Metaphor game had me hyped.

Persona and Like A Dragon at the XBox show rather than at the PS one.... what a shame.

Meh, they're coming to PS and Switch no doubt. Xbox did the same when they announced P4G and P3P on their last showcase. Give it a few days.

MS likely got the marketing rights for SEGA games like how Sony have marketing for most Square Enix/Capcom games

Showcase was not so good, sure lots of first party games that will come in a year.
But hardly any gameplay showed.

I saw more and better games at playstation showcase, most was third party games but still more.

@Rmg0731 @Ashina Well a Spanish retailer accidentally leaked the game for playstation and switch with the box art as well so that embargo from Microsoft has failed Hard 😅

@PsBoxSwitchOwner Yeah at the last event there was a few that said launch exclusive but not this time which means they are all coming to playstation, xbox obviously showed those selected titles as they are all coming to gamepass day one, apart from the new Atlus game which is not coming to gamepass which also indicates it's coming to playstation.

@Neverwild On the otherhand Starfield is looking like to be the only game to stand a chance of beating TotK.

I loved what the showcase shown, i have more of a sense of Xbox's future what looks bright while with PS5 all i know is live service and Spider-Man.

Sony did the exact same thing with the PlayStation showcase

False, Sony hasnt done any announcement embargo.
Microsoft is the only company doing that.

@johnny30 Sony listed games as coming to PlayStation — as you'd expect from its own showcase — but it didn't place any embargoes on mentioning other platforms, like Xbox is doing.

For example, it showed Dragon's Dogma 2, but then the official Capcom press release noted all other platforms. The press releases for Persona 3 Reload, etc., only mention Xbox and PC. That's the difference.

The fact that Microsoft has to place Embargoes to begin with means they are coming to playstation, otherwise they would of said so and gloated about it at the end of the trailers.

@UltimateOtaku91 glad to see the embargo fail. Hope more people leak these for other platforms whenever possible.

@johnny30 Like everyone said, the press releases of the announced 3rd party games listed other platforms shortly after Son'ys showcase. Rather weird that MS is holding an embargo for platform announcements. I can only guess that they wanted to build more hype for their platforms. More people likely are gonna end up playing the games on PS or Switch anyway and MS is aware of that,

It's not even a timed exclusive, just a two minute long embargo. What a waste of money, even for Microsoft. If they paid for the game to come to Game Pass and that's it, that would be perfectly fine. But why waste money to pretend that Nintendo and PlayStation won't get the game...even though they will and it won't affect sales.

People won't see Persona as an Xbox game. Hell, not many people consider it a PlayStation game. Just spend your money on more Hi-Fi Rushes, Bill Gates.

Im sure if it was an Xbox exclusive, it would have said so during the showcase. Im sure it'll be multiplatform.

This year is tough. Might not even make it to the nominations. Zelda, hollow knight, spiderman 2, sf6, re4, diablo 4 will be hard to beat if two of those don't get delayed.

Microsoft are a bunch of bozos for embargoing multiplatform announcements and Sega/atlus are butt holes for going along with it.

@GodofCapcom I've owned my Xbox for over 2 years dude and i got it for far more then one game 😂. Yeah this year is a tough year and after the showcase and direct its clear Starfield has what it takes and more, comments like yours reminds me of people who thought Fallout 3 and Skyrim wouldn't stand a chance of GOTY back on the day.

Idk. The ai, animations and potential bugs since they showed extremely short clips of gameplay might hold it back. F4 shouldn't have been nominated for the exact same reasons. Doesn't seem bethesda has improved along with other AAA devs.

Hellblade 2 is walking sim and Avowed looks double A. Doesn't seem the studios will get a second game for this gen unless they're indies. So I don't see a reason to get an xbox. Even if iD releases a great shooter, still too little.

I'd say this. Avowed + Hellblade 2 > nothing for ps5 as exclusives for 2024.

I forgot ff16 btw, the only game that can compete with zelda. Spider-man 2 won't be as good as zelda, but will be better than starfield from what I'm seeing.

Disappointing that the remake adds nothing from Fes, Portable nothing..

@TheLotteryMan1 TBH,the only thing I care about in FES is Aigis SL, and the new persona's ,which I bet will be the new content they said that they will put in the game.

I don't care about the anwser or the femc (no matter how hard they try to make her canon,the fact that Makoto,the Male MC, was mentioned in P4UA, decanonized her for me).

@Heckteck Why not? People play games that have insane level of gore nowadays,yet can't stand anime characters "shooting" themselves with a gun.

I guarantee that they'll only remake the content from the original P3 and then sell us P3 Fes Reloaded further down the line because Atlus are scum. Yes I will buy both.

Did we watch the same showcase? What were these better games that Sony showed? Personally I was very disappointed by the Sony showcase and came out of Microsoft’s pleasantly surprised. Though I suppose I do hold Sony to a higher standard, I thought their showcase was pretty bad really. And while at least 80% of what was shown is targeting 2024 at least it bodes well for a decent year for Microsoft which we haven’t seen in a long time

@Andee If rumors are to be believed...no.
This will be a remake of Persona 3 PS2 version. It won't contain the female protagonist content from P3Portable.
Don't know which changes they will make to the combat.
But, it's safe to say that if you want to play with the female lead, portable will be the only place to do so.
If you don't care for that, then, yes. It will replace it

Remember you buy a licence not a game. Nothing lasts forever. That's why I don't mind just playing these games on Gamepass if possible.

@Nem I expected them not to include the P3 Portable content. FES content not being included either. Atlus at least likely to do it as DLC or a complete edition. I think it looks nicer to play though in a Persona 5 coat of paint.

Yeah, they also changed the English voice cast too.

Sonys first party wasnt much for me but if I look at show at a whole than I saw 7-8 games that can be day 1 buy.
So by that it was a good show.

@Andee kinda yes and no, the other persona's and story from the female protagonist side are not on this remake and the Answer "DLC" from Persona 3 FES will not be included as well from what i could get until now so it kind of is but for some people it might still be good to have it.
