Really excited to see where they go with this story wise considering how MK11 and its expansion ended. Will Raiden just be human now? will Liu Kang still be a God? are the kids like Cassie still around? are Scorpion and Sub Zero still friends or are they enemies again? So many questions.

I would rather Injustice 3. I know I'm in the minority.

@SoulChimera He is the most boring character in the movie. I hope not but then again MK story is very repetitive and boring.

@WallyWest I think they're rewinding the clock (again!) with Kronika defeated and the sand dial thingy smashed... can't actually remember the end haha.

But will this mean we won't be getting Liu Kang and the other OG characters? Either way it's gonna look gorgeous; MK11 was a real looker. I just hope we get some really grim fatalities!

I always preferred other fighting games than Mortal Kombat, but I can still get down with the series. I just won’t be hyped as much like Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8.

@Splat I think more people agree with you than you would think. MK is great and all, but I played Injustice 2 way more than MK10 and MK11 combined.

I love MK but ever since MKX they have been cash grabs with micro transactions and DLC, so these days i am not super excited, but i am curious.

@Nem Same, I stopped buying them because half the game is hidden behind microtx. It's a shame because the gear and unlocks are really cool, but it's damn near impossible to unlock everything without paying extra. If they had a version that was I don't know, 60 bucks, and came with all the content I'd be down. Insane concept, I know.

I seriously hope they go back to DIGITAL SPRITES! And is not as tedious and microtx as 11.
