As if PSVR2's launch lineup wasn't already strong enough, recall that the excellent Resident Evil Village's VR Mode will be available on 22nd February as free DLC. We got a trailer showing it all in action, and boy, does it look like a nightmare experience for the faint of heart.
Just thinking about going through the hell that was House Beneviento in VR is enough to have us quaking in our boots. If it looks like your thing, then great, all you need to have done is purchase the base game (and a PSVR2, of course), and you are golden.

Oh I absolutely will be returning to Castle Dimetrescu in VR, this is looking like an amazing way to play the game. RE7 was good in VR bit never took advantage of it from a controls perspective and this looks like a more immersive game all round
Not returning as such. I played a little of the original demo, barely scratching the surface. Having played Resi 4 VR on Quest 2 I am very much looking forward to experiencing this free mode. I bought the gold edition in January for £33 which already has the excellent Rose additional content and optional third-person mode.
I won’t be “returning” as such, because I deliberately didn’t play the game in the hope of the far superior VR version being a thing.
Despite technically not playing it, this is probably the game that doesn’t really require a demo for me. We all know what we are getting. But always good to have I guess.

@Would_you_kindly The team who make a VR mod are not the same as the team who develop the maps or the team who make the art or the team who brew the teas.
I dont think i will be able to handle this in VR. As a complete girlie pants i dont do anything remotely horror but as ive just pre ordered my VR half hour ago i think i will have to give the demo a try at least.
Resident Evil 7 was amazing in VR. Resident Evil 8 looks even better. I can’t wait.

@SoulChimera just ordered mine. Delivery date states between 22nd and 28th. Would be nice if it was the 22nd tho as thats my birthday and im off work. Im not holding much hope tho as im a little late to the pre order party.
Oh i will defo be returning, dont know if i will be able to finish it though haha. I cant wait nearly there now. Hopefully get mine on 22nd, had a few emails from sony saying that money will be taken on 17th so hopefully will be ok for 22nd.
I’m really hyped for the VR2s. It’s also going to pair very well with the cockpit and it’s Fanatec GT DD Pro on GT7.

The level of immersion on this looks ridiculous!!! Its like a whole new game.
@Kidfunkadelic83 You would think that a week is enough time for them to sort it for delivery on day one.
I paid in full at a local game store here so I should be getting it day one. I’ll be in major jealous mode if I don’t. Hahaha.
@lexveem although i only use the logitech G29 im really looking forward to using the wheel with the VR too. I wish they could do WRC in VR too.
