Stylised first-person shooter Desperate: Vladivostok will bring its chaotic brand of bullet hell to PSVR2 later this year. Announced during Perp Games’ surprisingly stacked virtual reality showcase, the game will release both physically and digitally on Sony’s next-gen device.

Set in a vibrant, post-Soviet world, the release will see you “hit, shoot, and dodge” through 46 fist-pumping combat gauntlets. To add replay value, there’ll also be an endless Arena mode, where you’ll be able to compete for the highest score.

To be honest, in terms of core concept, this isn’t the most original idea out there. But if the gunplay is as pulsating on PSVR2 as it looks in the trailer, then this could be an entertaining gun-fu outing with a vivid artstyle – and we’re totally cool with that!
