The lineup of all PSVR2 launch games is bloating by the day, and you can chalk up first-person slash-‘em-up Altair Breaker as another day one addition. The co-op based sword-fighting title sees you saving a virtual archipelago located above a sea of clouds, and will see you climbing and gliding to each skirmish, in full virtual reality.

“Perform aerial combos, AoE attacks, use special abilities, and more,” the PS Blog teases. “Parry or block strikes with your shield, then slice your opponents in half with a perfectly timed sword swing.” The combat looks quite rhythmic in the trailer, although this hasn’t exactly attracted unanimously positive reviews on other platforms. Let’s hope the gameplay has been enhanced for this PSVR2 port.
