Toge Productions and developer Mojiken have handed A Space for the Unbound a confirmed PS5, PS4 release date after first delaying the game due to disputes between the studio's western partner PQube. In August, Mojiken accused the publisher of withholding information surrounding a diversity fund grant, which was instead used as "a leverage for their own commercial gain". PQube responded by stating Mojiken "sought for some time to unilaterally enforce unreasonable revised terms to our agreement".

As confirmed in the trailer above, the title will now release for PS5, PS4 on 19th January 2023. A pixel art experience about "overcoming anxiety, depression, and the relationship between a boy and a girl with supernatural powers", you'll follow the story of the two lovers during their final years at school. The prologue can already be played now for free on Steam.

The release date places A Space for the Unbound right at the start of the packed release schedule 2023 is shaping up to have; it'll launch on the same day as Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden for PS4. Will you be making some time for it? Relive your school years in the comments below.
