The PS5 version of Cloudpunk, a neo-noir delivery simulator set in a cyberpunk world, is available now, and owners of the PS4 version of the game can upgrade for free.
Cloudpunk feels like an intriguing mix between Death Stranding and Cyberpunk 2077, a futuristic delivery game in which you must navigate the monolithic architecture and insane-looking sky highways of the far future. The PS5 version of the game comes with the usual suite of upgrades you might expect, including 4K resolution, 60 frames-per-second and enhanced lighting and draw distance.
The enhanced PS5 version of Cloudpunk looks the definitive way to play, so if you have had this one in your backlog, now might be the time to fire it up. Did you play Cloudpunk when it initially launched, back in 2020? What do you think of this PS5 glow-up? Let us know in the comments section below.

Not yet in Japan it seems. I hope it’ll come soon. Can’t wait to play.
That heading destroyed my mind. Haha.
Completely forgot this game existed.
I wanted to love this but game-breaking progression bugs within 30 minutes of starting left a bad taste and I haven't been back since.
If they fixed all that I might give it another go, 60fps and all that is perfectly nice but I will not have my time wasted again of it's still unplayable.
Had a great time with the original release on PS4 but it was so obviously stunted visually and feature-wise compared to the glorious PC release that I actually stopped playing about 80% of the way through in hope of an update or eventual PS5 upgrade.
I'll be diving back in immediately! 60fps, vastly improved volumetrics and dashboard cam are gonna be sweeeeet. Next all we need is the new DLC. Although it's a shame that won't be in time to be on disc for the physical release.
Edit: damn. Gonna have to wait for a patch... Plays fine but things like no subtitles or character portraits when on foot really detract from the experience. I've missed a few bits already 😞 there's also the issue of incoming voices on the comms being very quiet.
Again, annoying that the disc version will still be 'incomplete' with its updates as well as eventual content.
Got this in the summer sale knowing the PS5 version was close. Looking forward to playing it.
@AdamNovice did exactly the same XD
@TeapotBuddha it's playable. Been playing it on PS5 for the last 3 weeks, no problem
Edit: sorry mistake, thought you were talking about Cyberpunk
This is a wonderful game.
I thought Cyberpunk was getting DLC there for a second lol.
