The AEW and WWE brands of wrestling couldn't be further apart from one another when it comes to fan opinion, and the former will be hoping that remains the same as AEW: Fight Forever is properly debuted. Despite a better-than-expected entry in last year's WWE 2K22, fans will hope the All Elite Wrestling video game adaptation trumps it just as much as it does in real life.

A new trailer was revealed as part of the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, with commentator Tony Schiavone and wrestler Britt Baker fronting the action. The pair get to grips with the game, sharing gameplay footage from a Dynamite taping. There'll be "a big roster of AEW talent, multiple match types, a robust career mode, tons of customization options, more than 40 weapons, and so much more," a press release explains. The trailer shows the classic chair and a fire hydrant being used during a match against Adam Cole.

There are even some mini-games to play outside the campaign, like dance battles, a wrestling take on baseball, and coin drop inside the ring. The trailer ends by saying AEW: Fight Forever is "coming soon", so no release date just yet for the PS5, PS4 versions. Does this latest look at the game have you excited for a WWE 2K alternative?
