We’re nearing a new era for PS Plus but some things never change. Case in point: as of the time of publication, you have little over 24 hours until April 2022’s selection of PS Plus games are removed forever, therefore you know what you need to do. Remember, you don’t have to actually download the games to your console: just hit the Add to Library button and they’ll be yours for as long as you remain a member.

To be honest, April 2022’s titles didn’t go down great. In our poll at the time, an incredible 53 per cent of you said that the lineup – featuring Hood: Outlaws & Legends, SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, and Slay the Spire – was crap. Honestly, having played all three of the titles we don’t necessarily agree with that assessment, but it just shows how hard Sony needs to work to ensure subscriber satisfaction these days.

The good news is that May 2022’s lineup – scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, 3rd May – has been a little better received: just 36 per cent of you think it’s crap this time, with around 50 per cent of you somewhat satiated by the selection. As a reminder, the incoming titles include FIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard, and Curse of the Dead Gods. You should also note that Persona 5 Royal will be removed from the PS Plus Collection on 11th May, so just keep that in mind.

The coming months will bring big shakeups to the PS Plus formula, with the arrival of new tiers and tons of titles to play. We still only know a few of the releases set to be included, but you can bookmark our All PS Plus Games page for all the latest information on new arrivals and impending expiry dates.
