Hold on, our Newtype senses are tingling...is this a brand new Gundam game actually releasing in the West for PlayStation platforms? Why yes, it is! Although, it may not be the kind of Gundam game that you were expecting.
SD Gundam Battle Alliance features the chibi mobile suits from the SD side of the franchise — but it looks pretty darn promising in the announcement trailer above. It seems to be your typical crossover thing where various Gundam worlds collide, and it looks like co-op play is an option for up to three pilots.
It's blasting to both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, but we only have a vague '2022' to go on as with regards to release dates.

I wish they're more regular sized than SD but hey, a new Gundam game is always a welcome. Also, AGE is once again left out. Wing Zero will definitely be on my team for most of the time. Same with the 00 Raiser and Barbatos Lupus
Looks fun but then again they have ways of ruining it. Mostly with bad controls.
@Ashina I remember one with a extending dragonarm or arms that crush the enemies any idea what one that was?

I'm a sucker for a Gundam game. I know nothing, but I've always played them through the years 'cause 'big bots with guns = cool'.

Never got into the SD series, but this looks clean. If I can use some of my favorites from 00 Gundam and Iron Blooded Orphans, then I'll definitely pick it up.
