The new Saints Row got a flashy gameplay trailer at The Game Awards 2021, and it continues to push that chaotic sandbox feel. Honestly though, we didn't expect to being seeing it so soon after its recent delay announcement — especially when it was set so far back.
It's still scheduled for the 23rd August 2022, but will you be waiting on it? Get the gang up and running in the comments section below.

In what is surely an unpopular opinion on this game. It looks good. Excited for it to launch.
Looks more of Saints Row 3 than any of the classic Saints Row games which is unfortunate.
I've completely changed my mind after this trailer, I'd propably preorder it now.. Game developers need to make trailers with at least 60% gameplay.
Looking forward to seeing more gameplay! I doubt I'll get this day one, but do plan to eventually play it.
Did anyone else see the hoverboard???
I know this game has got a lot of stick but this looked like some black Friday 2022 dumb fun to me! I'll not be there at launch but I'm quietly optimistic.
This is what should been shown for the debut, not a horrible cgi trailer. Looks like worthy sequel to three!
@Nepp67 What does that mean exactly? Looks like a natural progression from those games, it sounds like you just want to play 1 & 2 in which case I hope you get a remaster so you can just play those games.
@Juanalf I'm hoping for more of the grittiness that Saints Row 1 and 2 had with their story(Specifically story, not their gameplay cause they were goofy there)but that doesn't look to be the case with this one unfortunately.
Looks 10x better than the original trailer.
Looks like a step up from 3 but not as crazy as 4. I’m in.
I have a feeling that this game is gonna be woke AF.
@MidnightDragonDX demonic cultists would be a huge improvement. These new characters look like woke hipster d-bags.
