Don’t worry – it’s not part of the PlayStation Showcase! (But we haven’t ruled out Deathloop just yet.) The final trailer for Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will debut on 8th September, from 8AM BST. You’ll be able to see it premiere on the official Kojima Productions YouTube channel – assuming you haven’t had your fill of this re-release yet.
Last month, Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live presentation ended with an in-depth look at the PlayStation 5 port, which features new gameplay systems and tools. It’ll also, naturally, take full advantage of the DualSense controller, which should be interesting to say the least.

This is great news as it means it probably won’t be at the Thursday showcase - and that means more actual news there

Y'all going to be so disappointed when GTAV shows up at the event, after all it was at last year's event and it hasn't revealed it's next gen upgrade yet.
