Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is one of Sony's best-selling games of late. This should come as no surprise, given the huge success of its predecessor and, well, because it's Spider-Man. The game has sold 6.5 million copies to date across PlayStation 5 and PS4, and that's not the only awesome stat about the game. Developer Insomniac Games has published a handful of interesting player statistics that are great for fans of large numbers.

Perhaps most notably, the game has been played for more than 11,000 years in total. This is a pretty staggering figure to see written down. Some cursory calculations reveal that the average amount of time spent on each of the 6.5 million copies is about 15 hours. That seems less impressive, but we've no doubt Insomniac will be thrilled with that sort of retention. We're working with inexact stats here, but it seems like your average player at least saw the game through to the end, which is more than can probably be said for a lot of titles.

Moving on, the stats also show players have defeated over 7 billion enemies, stopped 190 million crimes, and ridden the subway 62 million times. You can see more big figures in the above tweet. The overall message is that people have played this game a lot, and they really like that suit with the cat in the backpack.
