Remember how we sort of knew Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 was a thing long before its announcement thanks to bands whose music appeared in the game were spilling the beans? Well, the cycle appears to be repeating itself. On an episode of The Behind Closed Doors Podcast, the drummer of the band CKY said he believes they're appearing on a new Tony Hawk game. The video is about a month old now, but the timeline is correct to where this can still be a new title from the Superman.

When asked whether the band appeared on one of the previous titles, Jess Margera said: "Yeah, and I believe we're doing the new one coming out too." Margera then goes on to clarify he does not mean the recent Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remake, referring to it as "the remaster of one and two" that his son is currently playing on PlayStation 5. CKY's song titled 96 Quite Bitter Beings appeared on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 soundtrack.

If this really is the case and a new Tony Hawk game is in development right now, the question becomes one of who is making it? Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 developer Vicarious Visions was recently merged with Blizzard, so they are seemingly off the table. It's currently hard at work on Diablo 2: Resurrected. What do you think? Is a new Tony Hawk title really coming? Let us know in the comments below.
