Praey for the Gods developer No Matter Studios announced in late October of last year that it was targeting a Q1 2021 launch for its Shadow of the Colossus-like title, but that sort of hasn't happened. The game hasn't hit either of Sony's platforms just yet, so the team has issued an update on its Kickstarter page. It now expects Praey for the Gods to launch on both PlayStation 5 and PS4 in the second half of April, with certification of the console versions complete.
The update goes on to explain how the game has been heavily optimised for launch as well as confirming more boss fights will be part of the final version when compared to the early access release on PC. So, we've got roughly another month to wait before Praey for the Gods arrives on PS5 and PS4, which is no issue at all.

Don't forget that you'll benefit from better graphical settings, full shadows, high-resolution textures, and 60 frames-per-second if you play the game on PS5. It'll also load much faster on Sony's current-gen system and support the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller. PS4 players will receive a free upgrade to the PS5 version.

Had to click on this as the title says 'Praey for the Gods'.
I did wonder what Praey was lol
shadow of the copyright is looking good!
@GoodGame The game was originally called Prey for the Gods, but the developer had to change it due to a Bethesda lawsuit.
@LiamCroft the Evil Inside developers should count their blessings.
This game looks great, even if it does look like a straight SotC rip-off
@LiamCroft Oh ok lol. Just sounds strange
So, no mobs - only bosses?
Been looking forward to this one. Hopefully I can make some time for it in the next couple of months.
Now this looks familiar.... where have I seen something like this already. I mean, before >.<
Literally what other game, apart from this plays, anything like SotC? I can really only think of Dragons Dogma but it's just a very light climbing mechanic on certain enemies, and not really at all like an actual SotC game
I'll always remember the flying Colossus and hanging on for dear life while trying to take it out in the air because it's an experience I've yet to see anyone try to replicate and that's a big shame
That being said, I've seen gameplay of this and it looks very clunky which i guess is to be expected, but i hope they polished it up way more since then
@Judal27 the castlevania reboot on the ps3 had that skeleton dragon thing you had to hang onto while trying to kill it..
@Northern_munkey Do you know the name? Never played the game and tried to look it up on yt

@Northern_munkey thank you. Yeah, it definitely has that SotC feel. But at the same time it also looked like it was scripted at times. Like the button prompts telling you when to grip
It did have its quick time events and it most certainly wore its sotc influences with pride too..was a good game but the sequel just wasnt as good..
Very happy to hear they have a better release window target now.
This is getting mighty close, yet no sign of it anywhere....
