While there may be a next-gen console in town, PlayStation fans are looking back at the PS4 era fondly – and what a generation it was! Reddit users have compiled a gigantic graphic, which shows every game published physically by Sony on the last-gen console – it’s a bounty of riches, we’re sure you’ll agree.
Not every game on this list was an instant classic – The Inpatient, anyone? – but we imagine it wouldn’t be too difficult for you to pick out four or five titles that you loved. For us, God of War, Bloodborne, The Last of Us: Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End really jump out. If the PS5 can match this, then we’re in for a treat over the next five years.
The best news is that the platform holder technically isn’t done yet: sequels like Horizon Forbidden West are still scheduled to release on PS4 as well as the PS5. Is this one of the best console libraries of all-time?

Hell of a lineup, that! That list alone would make the console worth buying, then when you add in 3rd party stuff it's simply ridiculous how many good games there are.
Even taking just 1 game from every row, you'd still have a pick of some of the very best titles that the console has to offer!
Some of Those Are On PS Now Sony Should Put The Rest Of Them On There.
Welcome to pushsquare where we wonder whats sony doing for one hour then love them the next...
The 2nd best selling home console of all time - only the iconic PS2 sold more
Reason it sold so many units (and still continues to do so)?
Epic games that appeal to different demographics with excellent graphics and smooth game-play.
PS5 has got its work cut out...
Hey! I liked The Inpatient!
This library isn't PS2-tier but it's damn close in a lot of ways
Highlights for me include Spider-Man, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, TLOU Remastered, both Gravity Rush games and Bloodborne
i have 32 of them, which is quite something considering i only have about 60 ish PS4 games.
Makes a mokery of the claim the Sony only put out interactive movies. Although the less saod about titles like Shadow of the Beast the better.
Stare at it for a while and do you see a message????
@TheFrenchiestFry You would have basically have to combined the published list of Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony to get close to the amount of published Sony game from PS2 era.
@Floki Oh I was talking just in terms of what I enjoyed out of the lineup not the amount of actual games lol
Just counted them. That's 88 games. Approximately 80 more than the human body is built to handle
Ps4 domination.im still playing games on my ps4 pro🖤what a system.a instant classic console.word up son
Ps4 is my fav console after psone, great 1st party exclusive and great western & japanese 3rd party support
They even got the best one; Singstar Celebration!
Nioh ❤️. The game that made me understand the "souls" genre and in turn made me addicted to it. I hope for a long and and successful continuation of the series.
I just noticed that the game's are in chronological order too. I own about 67 of them. Though it doesn't include all the digital games Sony have published too
Looks like I played about 30 of these. Not bad for one publisher in 6 years.
I feel like Sony is starting to stop taking risks, feels like the days of unique games like Gravity Rush are officially gone with the shuttering of Japan Studio. Gonna be faced with far to much generic this gen I suspect
Instant relief from the Bethesda woe's here! Bethesda who?
Given this list is about physical games, I feel the creator stretched things a bit given at least the Jak and Dexter gemes phisical copies were Limited Run releases.
God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Spider-Man, Until Dawn, Detroit, Last Guardian, Days Gone, Concrete Genie, Infamous Second Son, Uncharted 4/Collection, Journey, MediEvil and Bloodborne are all ones that I own. Have to say Horizon has been my favourite out of the ones I've played. Been meaning to get Knack and Tearaway for a while, though. Love the Jak series but have it hd on ps3 and don't need them again.
The fact I've played and finished like 80 percent of these.
@Total_Weirdo yeah I see the number 21, which makes me think something big will be announced 21st of this month
@Subsided
The closing of Japan Studio is a big loss no matter how much some here have tried to downplay it. That's not to say Sony's western dev teams aren't awesome but I'll miss the different stuff Japan Studio brought to the table.
I counted 15+ games that I've beaten story wise (didn't 100%/Platinum them).
Also 20+ separate games I own/don't down that I still need to either beat story wise or start playing.
This is why I love PlayStation . Power to the Players!
A lot of stone cold classics. Many happy memories.
