CD Projekt Red has deployed a hotfix for Cyberpunk 2077 — a relatively small update that should repair a game-breaking bug that was somehow introduced in patch 1.10. For those out of the loop, 1.10 brought with it an issue where Takemura would call V during a main story quest. However, the serious ex-Arasaka agent wouldn't actually say anything — he'd just sit there, staring into your soul and making it so that you're unable to interact with the rest of the game.
Despite boasting only a couple of fixes, the update is still huge on PS5 and PS4, weighing in at around 15GB. This is likely because it replaces a whole bunch of existing files.
In any case, here are the rather short but hopefully sweet patch notes:
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.11 Patch Notes
This update addresses two issues that appeared after Patch 1.1:
- Item randomization has been restored to the previous state.
The save/load loot exploit will be investigated further.
- A bug in Down on the Street quest has been fixed (Takemura bug).
Has this hotfix done the trick? Continue the wait in the comments section below.

And before they make another game breaking bug, jokes aside it sucks to see the game in this state.
but the big question is what new bugs have been added, it this point they really dont seem to have a clue on how to patch the game
I installed the patch and now my fridge is making a strange noise. I’m not saying CDPR are definitely the cause, but the odds have to be pretty high.
Bought this the other day to play on my PS5.
I played for 4 hours straight with only two small problems.
The first time I played, I had to reboot the game as it froze on the title screen, and while driving, I couldn't change the view. It was stuck on the 'inside' view. After a while, that sorted itself.
Apart from that, a lovely game and awesome looking
Playing on PS5 had game since launch and I have not had many issues. Crashing is it, which I was fine with because it was every couple days and after a hour&half. Well now playing the pat 2 days it does seem more stable but there are now atleast 2 maybe 3 assignments/tasks that wont clear, 1 says leave apartment complex I do and nothing is happening. I dunno frustrating thats for sure.
I went on the Subreddit for this game thinking I’d see fans talking about their love for Cyberpunk. However, its just overflowing with glitch videos (some of which are hilarious).
It must be heartbreaking for developers who poured their hearts into this game. When your hard work and creativity is reduced to mockery just because of the impatience of the big wigs and share holders and their desire to make some money.
Men is suits should not make games. But sadly, the ones with creativity often sell out to those with money in the hopes that they will be able to fund their vision. So many times they are burned though, restricted and crunched until they lose all passion.
Let’s hope they can fix this game. And let’s hope the suits take note of how not to do things.
This is so bad that is so funny now, patching the patches until 2077
@SoulChimera
Not much makes me chuckle.
That did. 👍👍
@Kienda Imagine feelings of programmers, who know they are in middle of developing and suddenly are forced to release. That really brings up thoughts that development and managering should be separated and managers should NOT be allowed to developement until it is done.
Thankfully I had just finished the ‘Down the Street’ quest before installing the patch. I’ve noticed an improvement in stability since downloading it, things like menu navigation are a lot snappier. Keep em coming!
And yet, the original issues with regular crashing, which the 1.10 patch was supposed to fix in the first place, is still present. Will the big February patch fix this? I doubt it by this stage. Thank **** I finished the game. Wanted to do another playthrough but will wait for the full-fat ps5 patch before I consider.
The problem with a BIG game like Cyber Punk is that if you change some code then it could affect some other code in the game. It's a massive game to check so i am sure future patches will break something else.
Hopefully i can play this around Easter time and have a smooth (ish) experience as the sci fi story sounds awesome in my opinion.
Sad that right now the Stadia version is doing better. It's suppose to be worst.
Is it playable now on PS4 Pro? I found a sale to get for lower than $20bucks
