We know very little about Square Enix's mysterious PlayStation 5 console exclusive Project Athia, but one new detail dropped today sheds some light on how long Sony has locked out other consoles from playing. In a New and Upcoming games trailer for PS5, the Japanese giant states: "Not available on other consoles until at least 24 months after release date". It will also launch day and date on PC with Sony's latest machine.

This is the same video which confirms Gran Turismo 7 for next year alongside many other upcoming PS5 titles. That includes Resident Evil Village and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. This isn't the only exclusivity deal Sony has with Square Enix as Final Fantasy XVI will also be a PS5 console exclusive for a currently unspecified time. How do you react to this news?
