Godfall, the self-proclaimed looter-slasher and PS5 launch title, has a new update on Sony's latest system. Patch 1.04 (for short) seeks to fix a whole laundry list of smaller issues. It's available to download now at around 650MB.
Developer Counterplay Games says that a lot of these fixes are based on community feedback, so it's nice to know that they've been quickly implemented. You can find the full patch notes over on the official Godfall forums.

Don't think I will ever care about playing this game. It sure turned out to be a joke.
I'm sorry, but after a year of confusion, laughter, disappointment, interest, and excitement and we get this as the initial game, no update can fix my thoughts on the game.
That is until I get it for $2 near the end of the PS5's life. Just like Knack.
I am waiting for a sale to get this game. It will likely come pretty soon seeing as how messed up it is. Gearbox stuff always go on sale quickly.
After watching skillup review I think I'm gonna pass on this, maybe wait for it to be on psplus or at least discounted to $10, especially with its always online requiment. I though the combat is good like god of war, but it seems it's not good, and the others system is bad too (story, loot, levels, etc). I like the art style though.
Gearbox is not a good publisher, this game shouldn't be sold at $70 and with always online requiment.
I'll wait for it be F2P thanks. $70, with an always online requirement, and what seem to be absolutely terrible game mechanics and systems, make me think this product is closer to a scam than an actual game.
Especially if it goes F2P, and I think that intention was always there.
I am divided over this...i like the concept behind the game and always online is not an issue at all for me..but i cant get too human and diablo out of my mind and it kind of has a warframe vibe about it which brings me to my main point..when warframe released it was pretty much bland and repetative but look at it now..could godfall be another ugly duckling? I'll wait and give it chance to mature like that fugly girl at school who years later became "WOW...REALLY"..
I played it and it’s extremely mediocre. I feel I wasted money on it.
Go check out SkillUps review on YouTube he slaughters it to pieces, there are maybe 2 good things about it but my god this game will be another Battleborn. They've no idea what they've done, and they know it's a mess and can't be fixed. So they did an Anthem/Avengers release game get as much money back from the losses made (con/scam people) and then make it f2p and just hope people by as much dlc skins as possible and then get rid of it
In Australia they sell an edition for $180
The game glitched me through the final boss battle skipping me straight to the post game so that left a sour taste in my mouth. Hope they fix that before my brother starts playing it.
It would have to be some patch to take 'aw' out of Godawfall.
Just like many others, I'll wait for a sale. It looks fun. Just not good enough at full price.
... it's really good to see that they're jumping on issues... but boy oh boy that's a real long list of issues if you go onto their site... definitely not worth full price, £30-£40? maybe I'd take a punt... there's a great video on YT with Arekkz and chums talking about it - it'll tell you everything you need to know and what's good / bad about it...
Bloody hell that's one serious batch of fixes! I'm one of those who bought this on release day (I got a physical disc for £50 with a discount code) but have yet to play it. Of release day games I bought this, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Sackboy, Demon's Souls and the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales. So far I've only played Demon's Souls which is superb, so by the time I get round to the other games any issues will be sorted out with patches...
Does this patch fix the forced online "bug"? If it does, I'll wait a 90% off, or maybe (just maybe) I'll give it a try if it's given for free on PS plus.
