Lair of the Clockwork God was announced to be coming to PlayStation 4 a little while back, but at the time, it didn't have a firm date. The game, which blends together point n' click adventuring with 2D platforming, released to critical acclaim earlier in the year, so it's certainly one to keep an eye on. Fortunately, we now have a release date: 6th November.

As Dan Marshall explains on the PlayStation Blog, his character is all about platforming, while companion Ben is more concerned with the point and click aspect. An example given is that Ben could use items in his inventory to make new equipment for Dan to use during platforming segments. It seems the game's puzzles and challenges will blend the two genres together in some clever ways.

Again, the general consensus is that this is very good. Fortunately, there's not much longer to wait until we can join the party. Are you interested in Lair of the Clockwork God? Tell us in the comments section below.
