Nioh 2 is still chugging along with its DLC plans after the PlayStation 4 exclusive released back in March, and this latest piece takes us to Kyoto City where the Heian Palace takes centre stage for more intense combat and levelling. The Darkness in the Capital expansion will be out on PS4 on 15th October 2020, and given the price of the previous DLC was £7.99/$9.99, we have to assume it will be the same case here.
Darkness in the Capital will introduce "new storylines, overwhelmingly powerful new bosses, tricky new Yokai, new Guardian Spirits, skills, Ninjutsu, Onmyo Magic and Soul Cores." There's also going to be a new weapon and armour sets. Nioh 2 can be picked up on the cheap as part of the PlayStation Store Big in Japan sale right now, so there has never been a better time to jump in. Will you do so? Let us know in the comments below.

Dammit I still haven’t finished the main game I got distracted. Amazing game though, so many improvements on the original.
Hi there fellow gamers. Great news for any Ni-Oh fan out there. The first dlc was pretty good and the Spilstaff was an amazing addition to the overal weapons of the game.
Not only that, really good Boss fights and design. Can´t wait for this one.
Cheers, stay safe out there and happy gaming to us all
Nioh 2 is already difficult as all hell but I'm really excited to tear through this post launch stuff
Really hope it also comes to PC later like the first game
I want to play this game but I just don't want to fight spongey bosses. They get tiresome and saw multiple of them in a stream I watched
done everything possible and maxed out, can't wait for next difficulty level and missions, next 3 weeks can't come soon enough.
Brilliant series and franchise. Dare I say my favorite new franchise released this gen. I hope Koei Tecmo continues it into next gen. Absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to this DLC.
........I still havent jumped back on to start the first DLC.......I better get onto it!
Still working on my Dream of the Demon playthrough. I did finish the DLC, just need to do it again.
Nioh 2 is one of the best games this year, looks great and great mechanics.
@Nepp67
"multiple of them in a stream I watched" maybe you just saw an terrible undergeared player fighting the bosses? Nioh 2 is great and all bosses seem hard but fair IF you learn their attacks / counterattacks imho. 🤟😎✌️
@Zeke68 I don't want to deal with overpowered spongey bossfights. Doesn't have anything to do with difficulty.
Can't stand this slow DLC roll out. It shouldn't take a whole year to release 3 expansions on a singleplayer game. This is why I refuse to buy it until all the content is out. I only want to play it once. This enticing players to comeback every few months is totally senseless on singleplayer games.
