Well, we’ve waited an eternity for this one! Warner Bros and Portkey Games finally announced its oft-rumoured Harry Potter-inspired game Hogwarts Legacy, which is set during Victorian times and is coming to the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 next year. The trailer showed some serious promise, with a dark take on the wizarding world set prior to the events of JK Rowling’s story. Check out the first trailer embedded above.

This has so much potential. Please be good!
Will be interesting to see how this does. The movie tie in games all tended to be fairly solid so I do have high expectations for this.
I don’t like the time period but other than that I’m excited. WB usually do well with bringing their movie franchises to gaming.
Warner Bros...You are amazing...
This could be so amazing
Harry Potter Hogwarts Asylum!
I want this to be good!
Yes! Finally! It gives me the vibes of the early Harry Potter titles that I loved so much. Hope this lives to its potential!
I wish something like this came out when the films where really popular but I'm still interested anyway, it could be a sleeper hit.
They better have the ability to play in a Quidditch tournament at school. Syltherin for the win!
Yesssss!! Most excited about this announcement
Looks really cool. My favorite game announcement today for sure. I just hope it can be played single player.
Actually looks pretty terrific, wasn't sure what to expect from a modern harry potter game
As a huge Harry Potter fan, i pray this is good.
RPG game exploring Hogwarts and the grounds along with playing quidditch? Sign me up!
This looks pretty good tbh, loads of potential.
Trans rights are human rights.
This looks great, but I won't be buying it unless it allows transgender and non-binary player characters. The only way JKR is getting my money is with a big f*ck you attached.
Oh man, is this an online coop experience? It looks absolutely amazing.
My childhood dreams came to life when I saw this trailer, definitely a day one buy!
I am still offended by what J.K. Rowling has been saying and doing on Twitter etc, but I won't let her stop me from escaping to my childhood fantasies of going to Hogwarts and becoming a wizard.
