The games that developer Spiders Studio have put together only got better over the course of the PlayStation 4 generation. Starting things off rather shakily with Bound By Flame, it improved with The Technomancer before putting out its best work yet last year with GreedFall. Because of that, the team will surely be proud of the fact that its latest RPG has gone on to sell more than one million copies.
Publisher Focus Home Interactive congratulated the French developer on Twitter, saying: "Thank you so much for making the journey this incredible!"
Spiders Studio isn't resting on its laurels though. It has already announced its next title for PlayStation 5, titled Steelrising. Are you looking forward to that one, and are you one of the million-plus players who have experienced GreedFall? Let us know in the comments below.

I really should get round to it. Itās on Now now, as painful as that was to type.
Now give us a new game + to celebrate!
But that's really cool to see it selling well though
I wonder if they could come up with stronger, or catchier titles for their games, they might find more success? Sadly i had forgotten all about greedfall, but i am looking forward to trying it out on Playstation Now
I really love the quote in the accolades trailer that just says, "BUY", lol. Been a while since I played a Spiders game...maybe I SHOULD "buy" this one....
Defo giving this a go on now at some point, nearly bought it a few times on sale, lucky for me I will now get to finally give it a go. I enjoyed technomancer although never got round to finishing it, some other game must have popped up.
Great news. Good game, will support their next game for sure.
Yes spider! Your earn! It kudos!
Too bad Sony did pay attention to Spider studio,!
I bought it when it was on sale for $17. I havenāt played it yet as Iām about half way through Ghost of Tsushima. But thatās my next game.
Rightly so too š The game was fantastic and very underrated.
Got it from ps now, was surprised it is only 13gb. However, after looking at screenshots and gameplay I came up with realisation that it's pretty much dark souls/ bloodborne kind of game which is a huge no no to me, so I doubt I will stick to it. Will give it a go someday, tho
I bought it ages ago but never got around to playing it. There are too many games and not enough time.
A bit of poison on my blade and let's go
I love female De Sardet in this and how she tells virtually everybody in the game that she's the legate of the congregation of merchants. Fab game.
I thought the game is spider rpg š
@Bamila I don't care for Dark Souls/Bloodborne gameplay my self but this does have difficulty options if that's your thing
Hi there fellow gamers. GreedFall is probably one of the hidden gems of last year. De Sardet quickly became my Shepard so to speak.
Even though you can see the budget limitations in some areas it is a really good RPG.
It has a solid combat system, interesting characters and quests and it is set in a unique time period and setting.
Heck, it is what Andromeda should have been and it wasnĀ“t. Congrats to Spiders Studio, they deserve it.
CanĀ“t wait for Steelrising on PS5.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
@SlyASpiE Hi there friend. You certanly get the gist of it. Plus he is one of the best characters in the game for me. Cheers and have a good one
@Bamila Its absolutely nothing like Dark Souls or Bloodborne in any way shape or form especially in gameplay.
I bought this a couple of months ago, but haven't started it yet. Bound By Flame was ok and I really enjoyed The Technomancer, so I think I'm going to like it. I tend to have a soft spot for these types of budget RPG's. I've also played and enjoyed Risen 3: Titan Lords and Arcania: Gothic 4.
