You’ve got to love the pomp and ceremony of this. Guerrilla Games has finally moved into its new office space, which is a five floor building in the heart of Amsterdam. In addition to being an iconic piece of architecture, the former Telegraaf complex also houses over 7,300 square meters of floor space, which is more than enough for the Dutch developer to expand into.
And to celebrate the occasion, the first-party team raised a flag in the most dramatic fashion imaginable. Here, studio and art director Jan Bart van Beek captured the moment:
And here's a view of the surrounding scenery, courtesy of PlayStation Studios boss Hermen Hulst:
It’s a big week for Guerrilla Games, with reviews rolling out for the PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn. It’s also busy beavering away on Horizon Forbidden West, which is currently scheduled to release in 2021 on the PlayStation 5.

That’s great, they deserve it. I heard some rumours for a while that they’re making SOCOM too, take it with a pinch of salt. I won’t be surprised BTW.
Amazing. Although i'll miss taking a canal boat past the office - which i got sadly excited about when i last went on holiday to the netherlands. Its a fantastic opportunity for Guerilla and i hope this helps them realise their vision. Not just for Horizon, but future titles too
well deserved from a great studio!
can't wait for HFW
Great sight. Only hope their employees are not smoking weed, and "nailing " brasses. In their spare time!
We all want GG focused after all.!
Ahhh The Dam many happy memories met Jake Wood (Max Branning) we went on to St Tropez then on to Bordeaux.............where he got caught steeling a pair of Boots..............left me stranded in Bordeaux lovely place.
That's awesome. The tower reminds me of the arc towers in killzone! I do hope they plan to bring back killzone in epic ways!
" team raised a flag in the most dramatic fashion imaginable"
Did I miss a reference or what was so dramatic about it?
@Murray I mean, they're just a game developer. And yet they have this mechanical flag pole with their logo on it.
I thought it was needlessly theatric but fun. In other words, I'm being sarcastic.
Horizon is an incredible IP, but I do still miss killzone. I would also love a remaster of the original trilogy for ps5, still sad the online servers for 2 and 3 were turned off, guerrilla can do amazing multiplayer, hopefully soon we'll see more in that regard
Still looks like 9gag logo. 😁
I hope they aren't making SOCOM, but rather a James Bond game.
Sony owns MGM and the Bond property, would be nice if they revived it with a FPS team, much like how they treated Spider-Man.
Not gonna lie, I thought Aloy was gonna be on the flag.
Looks like a building from KillZone Shadow Fall
@Netbean I platinumed Killzone 3 i loved that game i hated the PS4 version.
@Flaming_Kaiser
I really enjoyed the story for KZ2 & KZ3. KZ on Vita was pretty good too. I'm not sure what happened with the story on Shadow Fall but I found it so boring I just gave up. A real shame.
@LieutenantFatman Same here i started i year later and was a little dissapointed with the graphics. And the story i stopped at the forrest on the hardest difficulty. Was there still Warzone in the multiplayer that the only thing i played. Killzone 2 was way too hardcore with the multiplayer for me.
Was it just me, or did it look like that tower was wobbling in the wind at the start of the video?
