One of the most unexpected announcements to come out of Sony's latest State of Play livestream is that the entire first season of Hitman, Hitman 2, and the upcoming Hitman 3 will all be playable in PlayStation VR via the latest game from January 2021. Yeah, you'll be your very own Agent 47 in first-person. The trailer above needs to be seen to be believed.
The footage shows you tailing a target and taking them down with the trust Fibre Wire in a secluded spot. This looks amazing, doesn't it? The feature will definitely be available on PlayStation 5, but maybe PlayStation 4 will support it too. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

This is one of the announcements of the year for me, I do wonder how much better VR can look on PS5 and I'm hoping for a PSVR2 announcement at some point. Can't wait for this

The trailer says PS4 & PSVR .. it doesn't say anything about PS5 VR.
..it also doesn't say you will play all 3 games in VR. It says:
HITMAN 3 is the end of the trilogy, but it’s only the beginning when we talk about HITMAN in VR. We’re proud to announce that we are bringing VR support to every location from all three games. Every location from the World of Assassination trilogy can be played in VR, when you play them in HITMAN 3. We’re working to finalize the specifics for how PSVR owners can enjoy Hitman in VR, and we’ll have more details to share in the months ahead."
It looks like missions in a VR mode from the locations in the game. It doesn't say you'll be playing the story, we need some clarification on just what this is. It's a teaser of a trailer and the description is a teaser of what the game actually is. They're still finalizing what this will be by the looks of it.
The game said "VR Mode included".. RIse of the Tombraider also said that and we got an experience. Concrete Genie said that and we got an experience. I don't think this is what we all think it is. It sounds like its probably select VR missions from all three games.

Thanks for pointing it out. The trailer says 'play the entire world of..' not the same as 'play the entire trilogy'
Sounds good but misinformation, misreporting should be avoided.
@Party_Cannon no it doesn't mention PS5 but I'd be amazed given its release date if it didn't take advantage of that hardware in anyway, super sampling alone would make a big difference to the clarity of any VR game. At the very least Sony have hinted that backwards compatibility games have access to higher clock speeds
