The entertainment blockbuster that is Grand Theft Auto V is showing absolutely no signs of tapering off when it comes to popularity. The Rockstar Games behemoth has been confirmed for PlayStation 5 and now it's put in an appearance during Kanye West's latest track. Titled Wash Us In The Blood and featuring Travis Scott, who recently wowed the world in Fortnite, the song includes clips taken from Grand Theft Auto Online.

This politically charged track appears to focus on police brutality across the US, the Black Lives Matter movement, and the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. It's not a coincidence that the footage of Grand Theft Auto Online celebrates black characters.

@Kidfried Yeah, I absolutely loved ye and Kids See Ghosts but those last two albums are just bad. Might just be because I’m not a gospel fan but there still was at least one good song, Follow God, which felt like classic Kanye. A better protest song would be Pig Feet, easily the best one out of this current crop due to the BLM protests.

You can thank the cancer that is gta online for that, 8 years and counting of no new gta and many more years to come! I sometimes day dream of the Rockstar games we would have gotten if gta online didn't exist.
I rather nas the g.o.a.t. eric b and rakim kool g rap.or mysonne.az is cool.onyx.wu tang clan etc.not a fan of kanye West.word up son
Big Kanye fan here. Absolutely loved this track. That beat is the closest he's come to Yeezus in ages.
@playstation1995 Wu Tang are brilliant, I saw GZA perform Liquid Swords live right before lockdown started and he was great.
@Kidfried It's definitely not on the same level as Yeezus. I get why Kanye isn't screaming profanities anymore, but those kind of harsh beats work better with vulgarity than clean lyrics, in my opinion. All the same, I'm really excited to hear more from God's Country now.
@nessisonett. Gza liquid sword is a masterpiece.wu is the best. Mobb deep.mysonne.az is amazing.nas.is the best.word up son
The Solomun GTA video was much better.

BUT DON'T TAKE ME THE WRONG WAY
CAUSE GOD TOOK ME A LONG WAY
Love this track so much! It's like Yeezus meets Gospel and shows me that after the middling release of Jesus Is King there's still life in the old dog yet, say what you want about the man's personality but he's one of the most innovative rap artists of all time and has one of the best discographies in music full stop.
We know Kanye loves games, he was playing Sonic the other day with Kid Cudi and wants to make his own game based on Kids See Ghosts.
@Juanalf I feel you man. I had way more fun with GTA IV. You could tell they put a lot of effort in the story and characters, the 2 expansions we got for that were awesome as well. But at the same time, we did get RDR 2. Just for that, I'm alright with Rockstar milking out V. It's not for me but they've proven they can still make great single players. Just hope when VI inevitably arrives, they don't just focus on online as they did with V.
@playstation1995 Any old-skool tips for someone who doesn't know anything about rap music, but who quite liked the music in Office Space (Geto Boys I think?) and thinks the crap you hear on the radio nowadays is awful?
Kanye needs to stop being a God-botherer and get back to rapping about croissants.
@ShaiHulud. Listen to public enemy.kool g rap and dj polo.nas.eric b and rakim.big daddy kane.krs 1.wu tang clan.epmd.black moon.run dmc.mobb deep etc word up son
@playstation1995 Cheers mate! That's a lot of tips ;D
@ShaiHulud. Whos your favorite rappers.word up son
@playstation1995 That's the thing, I'm not familiar with the genre at all. The only things I know are from the radios or films, which is why I think the old skool stuff sounds a lot better. I'm more into metal and classical stuff myself, but thought it'd be nice to explore some new avenues:)
@ShaiHulud @playstation1995 Nice drops, my man. I'd say check out modern but old style rappers like Immortal Technique or Sage Francis, too.
@Jayofmaya. Immortal technique point of no return is a classic.remember dance with the devil.thats another classic of storytelling.word ☝ up son
@playstation1995 do you listen to Griselda ?
@Lifestranding. I listen to mysonne.az.rockness monster.onyx word up son
