The last time we wrote about System Shock was in July of 2016. Yeah, it's been a while. The game headed to PlayStation 4 has reappeared, however, with an all-new gameplay trailer debuted at the Guerrilla Collective event. You can check it out for yourself above -- showcasing combat, puzzles, and exploration.
What do you make of System Shock? Let us know in the comments below.

Optimistic about this one. The original’s a classic but this has been stuck in development hell for years and honestly lost all hope.
This looks very... 'meh'
The development of this game sounds fishy!.
Been taking too long
System Shock is a game I've wanted a remake of for years, as the original feels a bit old fashioned now. I hope they don't simplify it into a FPS, which the original wasn't. The environments looks pretty much like direct remakes of the original game.
FPS games were so different back then. System shock 2 is one of my all time favorites but I'm not sure any game will ever capture the exact same atmosphere.
This is still interesting for sure.
@Ear_wiG The technology of the time limited the game to mainly tiny corridors and made level designs feel more like a game maze than an actual real life environment. As pretty as this is, it looks like it's still sticking to those original level designs and that could make the game be disappointing to those not playing this based on nostalgia.
@badbob001 That makes sense - thanks for sharing! I never actually played the original game, so my cynicism is a bit much, ha! I just thought the shooting and environments looked very bland and uninspired in this video, not something I could see myself getting hooked on... I hope I'm wrong! I know this game holds a special place in peoples' hearts, and I really hope it turns out great for all those waiting to play it.
