A spin-off based on the Way of the Samurai series, Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story is all about dungeon delving and hectic swordplay. Described as an action role-playing game, you play as a wandering samurai who helps settle a blacksmith's debt. In order to make some dosh, you explore a weird world full of monsters and treasure at night, before helping the blacksmith sell your loot during the day. We're getting some Moonlighter vibes here.
It sounds like an intriguing little adventure, and the best part is that Katana Kami is coming to PlayStation 4 next week, on the 20th February.

Looks pretty cool! Not the type of game I'm typically into, but I love the sword animations, environments and enemy types
That’s a nice series to bring back, it lost its way a bit in the PS3 era but the PS2 games were great.
Yooooooooo! I had no idea this was a thing! I love Way of the Samurai, and action RPGs are my favorite genre of game!
Hell yes.
Maybe. What makes WotS interesting is the branching story, in which there is no moment you can’t draw your sword. I’m dead serious. You cannot change any moment or any cutscene to attack or duel someone. They’re also meant to be replayed, so maybe some randomized stuff is good, but I’m more worried about the story than anything else. And how much I can draw my sword. Whether or not I will, knowing I can .
Not sure I like the camera angle, it looks like to many things are off camera and attack you from that blind spot. I'll wait for more video
