I own the majority of the games on sale but I did pick up the expansion pass for Metro Exodus. I’m pretty excited to play the most recent DLC. It’s such a good game.
@Nerdfather1 I loved the DLC... tons of back story for a certain part in Exodus.
One of the best Story driven FPS I have played in years. Hope you like the DLC also!
Devil May Cry 5 up for sale but not up for Game of the Year. Disgraceful.
@ShogunRok - As a huge DMC fanboy (see avatar) and it pains me to say this, but it's probably because it's not actually that good.
While the core combat is excellent as always, the level design starts off ok then fizzles out into meh. Enemies are mostly terrible and all the bosses are kind of crap. In fact I couldn't even name any bar Vergil (yet again), they're that forgettable.
1, 3 and 4 are all better games with some of the best boss encounters in the entire genre. Even DmC has better level design if nothing else. All opinion I know but man, 5 disappointed me so much it makes me sad. Shrugs
How long does the sale last for?
@Shigurui Only thing I'm iffy on is the level design. Feels very bland and underused. Other than that, I love it. Can respect your other criticisms though.
@Nerdfather1 would you recommend the base game to be?
Kind of interested in Sayonara Wild Hearts. It looks like what you'd get if you threw Rez, some of Danganronpa's minigames, and a rhythm game in a blender.
@ShogunRok - Very bland sums up the whole game for me. It's the only game in the series that I didn't replay immediately after finishing it, I just deleted it. Maybe I should give it another go but the thought of having to play as V again angers me greatly.
As a plot device I guess he's ok but playing him is just awful, how did DMC become Pokemon? Ugh, I need to lie down.
