Street Fighter V has had a pretty rough ride since its arrival in 2016. The slim content at launch has slowly been added to over the years, with the Arcade Edition re-release an attempt to make amends for the shaky start. Now, though, it seems Capcom is ready to bring everything together in one complete package. Street Fighter V: Champion Edition was announced over the weekend, and it includes pretty much everything.
This version of the game, which releases on 14th February 2020, will house 40 characters (including the newly revealed Gill), 34 stages, and over 200 costumes for all your favourite combatants. You're also getting new V-Skills for each character, and pre-ordering the game will get you a static theme and even more outfits. The standalone game will cost $30, but owners of any previous version of Street Fighter V can purchase an Upgrade Pack for $25. This will give you "instant access to all available Champion Edition content as it becomes available leading up to the launch date".
What do you think of Street Fighter V: Champion Edition? Will you be jumping back into the maligned fighting game? Throw some fireballs in the comments below.

Valentines day again...
First the Sonic movie and now a new SFV bundle! Sewing matrimonial discord!
Huh, and I was looking at getting Arcade edition for cheap the other day... I shouldn't be surprised, it is Capcom after all. Next will be Hyper Turbo Championship Edition.
... The fact that Poison is in it now (I just really like her design and she was fun to play as in Ultra IV) means I just might bite!
If they can sell that for 30 with everything then they could have sold it for 60 at launch. I hate this type of model and fighting games abuse it the most. Used to love MK and SF but i cant support this.
Sfv (and no man sky) is the reason I don't believe in hype anymore and will wait for the reviews before buying any games 😕
I think they still have 1 more character coming. I heard rumors it could be Seth.
Patience is virtue when it comes to Street Fighters.
At last a version worth buying, it sucks for all of those who spent possibly £100's on that lot, whilst also highlighting how ludicrous today's fighters are as even after what 3 fighter passes? There's still not a massive number of characters and stages. However there is enough to justify a full price game, so get get this for a budget price is a bit of a bargain, it's just a shame we have to buy these 3 or 4 years after launch before they're worth it
PSA: new v-skills and balance update are free for owners of the previous versions.
I hope the NPC version of Gill gets his "resurrection" critical art so a whole new generation can be traumatized.
I still have my copy of the original. I may get the upgrade kit.
Well maybe next year I might finally buy this game even if they release more DLC or whatever, at least this time it looks more complete than before and for the right price
If the characters and stages are all on the disc then i get it. I bought the first release and was so dissapointed so everything or nothing at all.
Think I might pick this up now, any regular players know how easy it is to find a game online now, Is it mainly just the hardcore?
Probably get my ass handed to me, either way lol
Surely they should be removing all the separate dlc on the PS store? A quick look shows much of it on sale and many people are essentially going to get conned if they haven't seen this news
