If you've been longing for a Micro Machines-esque racing game on PlayStation 4, the wait is almost over (and yes, we are pretending the huge letdown Micro Machines: World Series doesn't exist). Mini Motor Racing X is heading to PS4 next month, with optional PlayStation VR support for good measure.
Mini Motor Racing has actually been around for a number of years, but this marks its first foray onto PlayStation. In addition to a traditional career mode, tons of tracks to conquer, and a host cars to unlock, the game will have some virtual reality elements. Using its experience with Gun Club VR, developer The Binary Mill is adding PSVR support for what seems like the full game. It'll even be cross-compatible with the "flat" version of the game when it comes to online multiplayer.
Hopefully it provides some simple, clean fun when it arrives in December. Will you be checking out Mini Motor Racing X on PS4 and PSVR? Rev your engines in the comments below.
