Final Fight PS4

Capcom and its employees can't stop talking about reviving the company's older IPs at the moment. After stating that the Japanese publisher plans on bringing back some of its classic franchises off the back of Resident Evil 2 and Onimusha: Warlords, one of the studio's most recognisable figureheads got in on the act.

Yoshinori Ono, the producer of Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V, said that he "would love to see" the return of Capcom's classic fighting series - Final Fight. Speaking at EGX 2019, Ono said: "The one I invested the most money into whenever I was still a player was Final Fight and I'd love to see that come back someday. You know, sometimes I write up little concepts by myself but they don't really get anywhere so you never know in the future."

The fighting franchise hasn't received a new entry since 2006's Final Fight: Streetwise on PS2, meaning it more than fits the bill for Capcom's planned revival scheme. Would you like to see Final Fight return? Kick and punch in the comments below.
