Capcom and its employees can't stop talking about reviving the company's older IPs at the moment. After stating that the Japanese publisher plans on bringing back some of its classic franchises off the back of Resident Evil 2 and Onimusha: Warlords, one of the studio's most recognisable figureheads got in on the act.
Yoshinori Ono, the producer of Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V, said that he "would love to see" the return of Capcom's classic fighting series - Final Fight. Speaking at EGX 2019, Ono said: "The one I invested the most money into whenever I was still a player was Final Fight and I'd love to see that come back someday. You know, sometimes I write up little concepts by myself but they don't really get anywhere so you never know in the future."
The fighting franchise hasn't received a new entry since 2006's Final Fight: Streetwise on PS2, meaning it more than fits the bill for Capcom's planned revival scheme. Would you like to see Final Fight return? Kick and punch in the comments below.

If it's done right i would not mind
The said scrolling Alien Vs Predator would cool to see I have read and heard that it is coming but a up to date final fight would be cool. I wish all pubs revived there old IPs I would love to see SEGA owe respect to some of its Dreamcast classics, Skies of Arcadia would be an awesome return for a RPG game I loved that game to much
So would I actually. And let’s not make it like Streetwise or Revenge. All this Capcom talk about bringing back Power Stone, Darkstalkers, Dino Crisis, Rival Schools, Okami. Ugh, just do it already Capcom.
If it's anything like SFV then no thanks
@VatoLoco47 what that suppose to mean sf5 is a good fighting game. sure the games launch sucked but with the release of sf5AE it fixed a lot the game launch problems.
Kenny Omega for Cody!!!
I’ll be there day one if capcom make it 2D like street of rage 4 / river city girl
Why not?! It's one of my top favorite fighting games and playthroughs of any games I own. If they do it though they should not go with the same art style as SF V. They should do something that compliments the original game while bringing it into the 21st century.
Not interested if Yoshinori Ono is involved, don't forget that guy goated Darkstalker fans into buying that DS collection in hopes they would see a Darkstalkers 4 and when sales met his expectations he never even tried to get DS4 started.
Yoshinori Ono ruined the SF franchise and is a well known pos liar, his business tactics remind me of the BS Konami pulled as they screwed over Kojima and Igarashi, and yes I'm aware Yoshinori Ono works for Capcom, but his actions and lies are konamish in every fathomable way.
