Whatever your feelings are on the Call of Duty franchise, most people will agree that the best character the series ever spawned is Captain Price. The moustached SAS badass who chomps cigars and kills with both bullets and wit, he's a brilliant companion throughout the Modern Warfare games. You even get to play as him in one of the most memorable levels of the entire series: All Ghillied Up. He's set to return in the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, although played by a new actor who we've yet to really see in action.
If you want more classic Captain Price in your life, however, there is a way. If you pre-order the new Modern Warfare, you'll unlock the character as a playable soldier in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Blackout mode. Sporting the classic look and voiced by the original actor, this is a neat little bonus for the biggest CoD fans out there.

DO NOT PRE-ORDER GAMES
@SuperMegaGeek im always reminded of this article which was especially poignant at the time: https://kotaku.com/stop-preordering-video-games-5909105/amp
I used to preorder everything. I stopped since i had an awful experience at GAME after preordering the special edition of ff15, where i had to pay 10 pounds for the privilage.
Unfortunately a work trip meant i wouldnt be available on launch week after the game got a last minute delay. GAME told me that they would only hold the game for 48 hours before selling on, despite me explaining the situation. When i asked for my money back, they said i could only have it as a gift card and only after the game had been released (until i kicked off about consumer rights in the moddle of the store).
I now very rarely preorder (and only from a preferred online retailer) for special releases (FF7 and Cyberpunk atm). And ive never shopped at GAME, since.
Pre order? No chance....
Guess blackops 4 numbers a dropping like a rock then huh?
I'd pre-order for the chance to play as Chloe Price in Modern Warfare😀
I got burned with the Anthem pre-order and vowed never to pre-order again... well, until I saw the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. But that is the last, I swear.. except maybe BGE 2
Damn
I can resist everything except temptation
@nathanSF im tempering my expectations for BGE2. I wanted it so much. Then that trailer dropped. Eurgh. Its not the franchise i fell in love with
@East76landS @SuperMegaGeek @nathanSF
Dont forget to pre-order all PlayStation exclusives then lol.
@Rob_230 I understand the sentiment, but BGE2 is my first foray into that world - luckily I guess.
Either way, if it's as different as you seem to suggest, perhaps it might be worth judging BGE2 on its own merits and deciding from there if its going to be fun
@KnightWolf Guilty as charged, I guess.
I still preorder. I just do it one day before the game is available for download off PSN. Stopped ordering way in advance when PlayStation decided they'd let your money sit in their account earning them interest instead of taking it the day prior to being available for download.
I'll pre-order when I know it's a game I want day-one (or sooner), and know I'll love... like Days Gone, TLOU2, etc.
But this, I only want for the campaign. I'll be looking for it used, a month or two after launch.
@TalentedAtGames granted some indie devs the pre-orders help financially but that's about it.
Wait for the reviews. Wait for the bugs to get fixed. Stop buying into hype. Reward hard work not good marketing.
Hear that EA? Activision want their crown back
