Apex Construct was just about the blandest sci-fi virtual reality story told thus far, but it played nicely on PlayStation VR and had some impressive visuals and ideas. The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets looks to be packing a bit more personality, and it’s due out this year for Sony’s headset. This is effectively an easy-going puzzle game, where you’re encouraged to observe vibrant environments and interact with them.

“Guided by the voice of your grandfather, travel back to the imaginative adventures of your childhood and the worlds you created together,” the press release reads. “Revisit a joyful past and the troubled relationship with your sister. You will come to realise things about yourself you forgot decades ago.” There’s not much more information right now, but you can check out a trailer above for a better idea of what to expect.
