PS4 Exclusives Lead the Charge in DICE Awards 2019 Nominations

It's been said multiple times, but 2018 was a bumper year for PS4, and several exclusive titles helped push the platform with record-breaking sales and universal acclaim. This looks to be reflected at this year's DICE Awards, as the nominees have recently been announced, and Sony's biggest titles appear in a huge number of categories.

Leading the pack is God of War, which is nominated for 12 awards including Game of the Year, Direction, Design, and Story. It's closely followed by Marvel's Spider-Man with 11 nominations, appearing in all the same categories. Elsewhere, Detroit: Become Human and Astro Bot Rescue Mission are also recognised with four nominations each, and even MLB The Show 18 gets a nod. Of course, Red Dead Redemption 2 is also heavily featured, securing eight nominations.
