THQ Nordic sure has a lot of stuff going on, doesn't it? The latest deal to be struck by the publisher is with Bugbear Entertainment, the Finnish developer perhaps best known for its FlatOut series. The studio is now part of THQ Nordic's collection, and all intellectual property now belongs to the publisher.
This one isn't completely out of the blue; Wreckfest, Bugbear's demolition derby racing game recently released on PC, was published by THQ Nordic on Steam and other digital channels. According to the press release, the game will be making its way to PS4 in 2019.
What do you think of this acquisition? Are you looking forward to playing Wreckfest on PS4? Get wrecked in the comments below.

just how rich is that company?
at this rate we can expect them buying a studio every month soon.
I'll be getting Wreckfest, looks like a blast!
No joke I’m buying THQ Nordic stock.
Think I might make a studio and see if THQ Nordic buy it. Least they will be releasing a game with this purchase a lot of the other purchases you wonder what are they going to do with it.
Wreckfest does look quite interesting to me. I hope it can launch on console and not be a buggy, stuttering mess. I prefer the mess to be made by littering smashed car bits around a virtual dirt track.
Good. Whatever m$ sharks don't steal from the industry floats my boat.
@Kidfried I really do believe they have some sort of master plan!
Worth a punt I reckon.
EDIT: Woahh! That’s 1403%!!

This is cool. I played quite a bit of Ridge Racer: Unbounded.
I’ve been waiting years for Wreckfest. Even before it was known as Weeckfest.
Been looking forward to it b4 it was released on Steam. Hoping for the best!
