ANTHEM is only a few short months away from release now, and we'll get our next look at Bioware's next big thing next week at The Game Awards. The game's Twitter account is already teasing the trailer, though, and you can catch a grand 20 seconds of it below.
The announcement will belong in the category of updates to games we already know exist, so don't worry, this won't take up one of the plus ten slots going for brand new game reveals. Are you looking forward to seeing more of ANTHEM? Romance the poster above you in the comments below.

I have my copy pre-ordered and registered for the Alpha too so hopefully will get some hands on before they show us more...
Not so many people are excited for this game...it seems like a Destiny sort of game and honestly Destiny is already boring enough!
Hope it's good anyway...
Nah I don't think anyone gives a toss tbh.
Yeah I'm not even considering this game 😕
Seems a bit worrying a game of this scale made by a large company is three months away from release and still in alpha, no?
The same guy who leaked that Sony will not be on the next E3 also said that BioWare are having trouble with Anthem.
It’s just a rumor, who knows...
The first ever reveal of this game was sensational, but ever since then it has disappointed me. I try not to be someone who hates on games/franchises, but this game looks boring to me. I hope I'm proven wrong, and this game is a huge success in terms of critic praise, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
I love seeing yet another shooter from EA.
So not interested.
I watched a video of a couple of the developers playing this and couldn’t make it to the end it was so dull. I hope it turns out good for the people who are looking forward to it. I’m not sure we will ever see a good story driven game from BioWare again.
I said this when it was first revealed and I'll say it again: EA making a Destiny clone is the least appealing idea I can think of.
Highly looking forward to it. So far everything that has been shown in streams (despite today's stream having died because of technical issues) looks great and got me excited.
I signed up for the closed alpha, but have yet to get an invite.
@Nerdfather1 Even with the live streams they have shown? The javelin customization in this game looks amazing.
@RBMango, how can Anthem be a Destiny clone when it was being made before Destiny was released?
It is more of a combination of ME + WarFrame + Monster Hunter. There is almost nothing in this game that reminds me of Destiny, but a lot that reminds me of WarFrame, ME, Monster Hunter.
@3MonthBeef Could be that they started working on some kind of sci-fi game back in 2012, but I don't believe that the currrent Anthem is the game they started working on back then. Companies like to boast about their numbers, ''We worked 7 years on this game'' sounds like perfect corporate talk to make it seem more amazing. If Activision can pump out two Destiny games in about the same timeframe, I find it difficult to believe EA spent 7 years on this, especially considering how tight they are with money and all, it's all about the money. Yet it will release in a half broken state, with bugs and glitches after seven years, but hey, at least the loot box system works, right?
I'm getting old...
I really can't wait for this whole "like Destiny but..." era of gaming to be six feet under so studios like Bioware can get back to doing what they do well.
BioWare's games used to excel in their writing, characters and story which always made their average gameplay and dodgy combat bearable. Now it seems to be the other way around and it doesn't work half as well.
I hear this could be delayed again...
I am looking forward to this. The movement, the teamwork elements and the potential of a new universe and lore are enough to drag me in at the moment. In lieu of an excellent Iron Man game, this satisfies my man child fantasies.
I've skipped through a couple of livestreams and I can't say either were particularly interesting, just looks like a third person Destiny but with apparently less story from what I've seen so far. Not a game I'm likely to pick up
@tatsumi Destiny released a few years ago Anthem did not.
@carlos82 Less story is that possible?
@RedMageLanakyn The Alpha build may well be 'months' old and the build they have been using to demo on live streams etc. Its more a test now of the live servers rather than the game and certain aspects could very well be added/improved already. I guess if something 'major' crops up from the Alpha testing, they may well be forced to delay but being EA, I bet they still have to release before the end of March for their shareholders...
I'd rather go watch my wash machine run...
@BAMozzy Well for the game being made under the Bioware umbrella, with EA attached, and the recent debacle that was Fallout 76, I have a feeling people will be more reserved than ever when it comes to this game. We all know by this point that most games release in "beta" state anyways, but they could at least try to hide it better
@RedMageLanakyn LOL true - this game is expected to expand over time too which will automatically mean its not a complete game at launch...
The lack of public hype for this game is embarrassing.
Yeah, it's not looking good for poor Bioware with this game.
Meh not hyped at all for this, but wish them good luck.
