Battlefield 5's multiplayer has a class-based system, but with exclusive roles, perks, and weapons tied to each job, which one you pick has never been more important. Here's what to expect from the Recon class.

Battlefield 5 Recon Class Combat Roles

• Sniper - Designed for those who want to take pot shots at a distance, the Sniper combat role harasses the enemy with perfectly timed shots to the head. Perks include the Eagle Eyed Trait that spots foes when you shoot them, and the Expert Marksman Trait that allows you to hold your breath for longer, with an instant refill upon a headshot kill.
• Pathfinder - The Pathfinder sneaks behind enemy lines and interrupts Axis forces from behind their backs, with a Squad Beacon that allows teammates to spawn at a place of your choosing. Perks include the Advance Scouting Trait which allows you to spawn on enemy Squad Beacon on the field, and the Vanguard Trait which increases the amount of Requisition obtained when someone spawns on your Squad Beacon.
