Helldivers Receives 'A New Hell' Update on PS4, Features New Weapons and Enemies

Remember Helldivers? It's a fun, tough top-down shooter with a lot going for it, especially in co-op multiplayer. It launched all the way back in 2015, but three years later, a big update has arrived that adds some fresh new content. Called 'A New Hell', the update focuses on providing more challenges for veteran players to enjoy.

The first major addition is new difficulty levels. These tougher planets are marked An Exercise in Futility, The Definition of Insanity, and Inner Circle of Hell, which are all fantastic ways of saying these new levels will kick your butt.

There are also three new enemy types to deal with, as well as a massive new weapon with which to take them all down. This powerful machine gun is a one use item with limited rounds but rapid rate of fire, which should make short work of most alien threats.
