Sony is working with local developers in China to bring their game concepts to the PlayStation 4, and during a press conference in Shanghai earlier today, the company showcased new trailers for five upcoming China Hero Project titles. Lost Soul Aside once again headlined the montage, but other releases like Pervader and Hardcore Mecha (previously named Code: Hardcore) also look really interesting.
Here are all the games included in the montage:
- 1:57
- Kill X by VIVAGAMES (Winter 2018)
- 4:07
- Project Boundary by Studio Surgical Scalpels (2019)
- 6:07
- Pervader by Beijing Light & Digital Technology (Coming Soon)
- 9:30
- Hardcore Mecha by Rocket Punch
- 11:50
- Lost Soul Aside by Ultizero Games
We’re really intrigued by Pervader, which depicts a kind of military game mixed with giant Chinese dragons and girls with cat-ears. To be fair, all of the games look somewhat interesting from a concept level, but obviously it’s Lost Soul Aside that is the standout. We really like the China Hero Project, though – it’s a good endeavour from Sony, and will help its efforts both locally and globally, as it searches for unique content to help its console stand out.

Pervader sounds like like some sort of seedy Star Wars game.
Pervaded looks like a PS2 era fmv... the character models perhaps PS1 😂
Kill C and Pervader looo pretty cool.
@Get2sammyb I was expecting more gatgirls from Pervader though after reading that’s half of what stood out. Now I’m just left wondering about it after only seeing two in sons quick shots lol. I think it’s funny that caught your eye, but not the plague the games about when you summarized it.
@NintendoFan4Lyf Hardcore Mecha doesn’t look like it will even reach a T rating, so don’t get too excited now lol.
Lost Soul Aside looking good as always.
Beside that, Prevader looks to be the most interesting among other 3 titles...
