Housemarque, the studio behind some of PS4's best arcade shooters like Resogun and Nex Machina, is ditching the thing it does so well in favour of something more mainstream, and that game is Stormdivers. We still know almost nothing about this multiplayer title -- up to now we've only seen a short teaser trailer and some images of weaponry and environments.
Fortunately, the developer is planning to reveal the first gameplay footage of this mysterious game during Gamescom 2018, so we won't have to wait much longer to find out exactly what it is. Many have speculated that Stormdivers will be a battle royale experience, and that's certainly a possibility. To tide us over until the full trailer is available, Housemarque has put out the above tiny teaser, and it definitely looks battle royale-esque.

I hope they still make games like resogun and nex machina. I love them 2 games, especially nex. But I'll be willing to try something new from them, just multiplayer shooters are not really my thing.
I wonder what they'll say when this flops
''Err.. Toys to life is clearly the new direction, here are 2305 collectible figurines you don't care about, enjoy!''
@JoeBlogs I love resogun. But for me nex machina is better and definitely one of the best games I’ve played this generation
A Housemarque battle royale game would be pretty interesting actually. I have no interest in the BR craze since I’m not much of a multiplayer guy, but I’d like to see how they meld their unique gameplay style with the BR genre.
It is a battle royale type game. I've played the beta on Steam. It wasn't very good
