E3 2018: Session Looks to Fill the Skate 4 Shaped Hole in Your Life

When Skate 4 failed to materialise at EA's press conference, many people turned to Microsoft hoping for an announcement. Funnily enough, a skateboarding game did feature at the Xbox presser, but it wasn't quite the title people were expecting.

Named Session, this looks to be an authentic take on the sport, similarly to the original Skate. You won't be jumping over helicopters and grinding down escalators in this one. No other details were made available, but it looks like a title worth keeping an eye on.

I've just been craving a good skateboard game for a long time. If this is as good as Skate, it's day one for me.

Depends how good this one is. Skate has pedigree, but this is an unknown quantity. I'm definitely wanting a good skateboarding game, though.

I haven't enjoyed a skateboarding game Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 on PS2. That was the best skateboarding game to me

Apparently a Kickstarter project?

There's a big skateboard-shaped hole in this gen's library so hopefully this one can fill it.

I'm in but somewhat cautious

I must admit I was all giddy and expecting to see Sk4te come up. It does look a lot like the editor vids you could make in Skate to be honest. I just hope it isn't an entirely online multiplayer game.
