In the latest earnings report from Ubisoft, the French publisher lets slip some of its plans for the relatively near future. For starters, the report states that The Division 2 -- announced but not shown back in March -- is due out this fiscal year. In other words, it'll launch at some point between now and April 2019.
The shooter sequel will join The Crew 2 and one other "AAA" title. The latter is currently unannounced, so we're counting on seeing it at E3. The return of Splinter Cell? Place your bets now.
It's also worth mentioning that the report pegs Skull & Bones -- the pirate ship battle thing that was shown at last year's E3 -- for release beyond April 2019. It was originally marked for launch later this year but... Yeah, that was never going to happen.

What the hell has happened to ubiarts?
A new Rayman title would be great!
Splinter Cell, probably.
It's either Splinter Cell or Watch Dogs 3
Some boring games there, shame there's no sign of a new Rayman.
Please be Splinter Cell
Someone gave me The Division and I never played it. Just seemed like so much work and grinding. It's the same reason I don't have an interest in a lot of Ubisoft's other AAA titles...that and how it sure seems like if you've played one, you've played them all.
Hopefully there'll be more a shake-up in the ol' Ubisoft formula.
I wouldn't mind another Ghost Recon. I quite enjoyed Wildlands.
Wonder if it'll be a new Rayman? Just started Legends been great so far
Child of Light 2 please, and thank you.
@LieutenantFatman It's not like Michel Ancel has to be working on it, Rayman 3 was made largely without him since he was busy with BG&E, and it turned out well.
I was so disappointed with what The Division had turned into vs what I thought it was going to be based on the initial reveal. I hated the bullet sponges.
Fingers crossed for Splinter Cell.
@viciousarcanum
This been going on for a while, we all knew it but we didn't decide to help them through their problems when we had the chance.
very very keen for division 2
@OmegaStriver i was obsessed with its original reveal. The idea of it seemed so fresh and full of potential.
Thought it was going to be this realistic tactical openworld game but it just continually went downhill from there.
The insane downgrade of the graphics and physics. The completely stupid bullet sponges. The god awful grinding.
My friends would talk about it and id read/watched stuff and the more i saw the worse it seemed. In the end i just couldnt bother. Still havent played it and dont even care to
@Gmork___
I avoided it after playing the beta and bought it later on sale thinking I could get past what I disliked about it but couldn’t. What actually killed it for me was that if I wasn’t closely ranked to my friends we couldn’t play together and it be fun. Another random thought, After the reveal I thought bullets were going to be rare and you were going to have to pick your shots as well, I was wrong.
Interested in Division 2 for sure.
I'm gonna be different and ask for another Prince of Persia game <3.
