Detroit: Become Human launches next month, but developer Quantic Dream is in the eye of a storm. Reports from French media earlier in the year documented the purported “toxic” culture at the company, which the studio has since denied. Bosses David Cage and Guillaume de Fondaumière had threatened to sue the likes of Le Monde and MediaPart for their articles, and according to a Kotaku report, it wasn’t an empty threat.
A dramatic article by Jason Schreier, which quotes Cage as well as the original Le Monde and MediaPart journalists, reveals that the parties are in fact heading to court over this. The sued publications will now have to demonstrate that they handled their stories with fairness and "good faith”. Earlier in the year, Quantic Dream described the whole affair as a “smear campaign”. You can learn a little more about the actual accusations through here.

Well this could get ugly.
The timing is terrible.
They couldn't have done this quietly or a while after the hype around Detroit died out?
Nice! I look forward for the truth to come out. I highly doubt there was much truth in them and it's such a shame people are so easily influenced by accusations that are not even properly backed by evidence. Similarly, I'm keeping an open mind to the possibility of the reports not being complete fabrications. We'll see.
Still, innocent till proven guilty.
@CK97 Kotaku did the digging, no one's been shouting from the rooftops about it.
Quantic dream will have problem attracting talent if their name is not cleared, I hope the truth come out.
@get2sammyb is it though I think it's perfect hit two birds with one stone.
Things are getting cagey
timing means jack when people are making up false stories trying to tarnish all the hard work over the years imo.
good for them integrity comes to mind! because if they are going to court over it I bet what was reported was more than likely a load of BS.
@David187 There were at least some truths in the accusations that were made, even Cage admitted that, it's just matter of proving how many.
The real question is will you be able to save everyone by making the right choices?
The rumor come out! Does Quantic Dream is gay?
@LieutenantFatman did he have you got a link to the story?
That interview never gets old
@RegularGameFan Its a dumb meme reference to an 'Engrish' article about Bruno Mars. No relevance, just silliness

@Neolit "Protecting democracy ..." RATATATATATATATATATAT!!!
@David187
Not allowed to link on this site but if you check Eurogamer's articles when this news first emerged he replied that some of the reported activities did happen but states he was only aware of some the slightly less controversial bits.
Quantic Dream is terrible at handling this...
@Broosh
You dont won. Expect the unexpected....
I'm a mechanic, and can tell you this: if these allegations are enough to ruin that company, 80% of all truckers, mechanics, carpenters, construction workers and what's not, should all be fired. Sometimes the western world needs to man up. All this sjw stuff is becoming quite intense.
😅
