An Amazon listing for a Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare comic book suggests a third entry in the series is on the way. The product page for the book reads, "Paul Tobin returns to write the official comic book bridge between video games PvZ: GW2 and PvZ: GW3 with Tim Lattie returning to deliver artwork!"
No official announcement of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 has been made. It's possible we could see a reveal at this year's EA Play event in June. There are no more details right now, but we'll be sure to keep you all up to date with news as it crops up.

I could never get into these games then again I am not big on tower defense games to begin with.
Still play the first one to this day! The second one was too much of an EA cash grab. They tried to make the game artificially addictive using FTP mobile game tactics but it just turned off people like myself who can’t stand that crap. Had it been the first game in the series they might have gotten away with it, but we’d already been spoiled by a first game that used none of those tricks but instead offered a huge value for only the initial cost of entry. Hopefully they’ve learned from their mistakes.

Just as sure as the sun shines, EA will load this game with lootboxes and microtransactions.

Isn't it strange that the game's title is based on CoDs Modern Warfare. And now PVZ GW is at part 3, while weve never saw an actual COD Modern Warfare 3

@Kidfried To.be fair it's not as.good as MW2 or even the first MW. It was made during the whole Infinity Ward debacle.

I'm pumped for the game, but I'm a little sad that nobody mentioned the genius pun in the tagline for this article. Absolutely brilliant, @Quintumply hahaha
Still sad that EA bought Popcap, destroyed them, and we'll probably never get a proper Plants vs Zombies 2 or any other original games.
