Days Gone has always looked like an unofficial World War Z game, but now there’s an official one in the works, too. This appears to be very different to Sony Bend’s take on the zombie apocalypse, however, adopting a four-player co-op format. The huge swarms of the undead are still present, though.
There’s no word on a release date for this just yet, but it’s coming to the PlayStation 4 and it’s being developed by Saber Interactive, who’s perhaps best known for, say, Inversion on the PlayStation 3.

Certainly reminds me of Days Gone but with that being a Sony Exclusive, it doesn't surprise me that World War Z is being made. At the moment at least, Days Gone is much more exciting a prospect - open world with dynamic weather and behaviour too. The fact its a Single Player and focused on one character also helps with story and immersion.
Visually this looks like a cheap knock off of Days Gone which is funny cause that seems to have taken ideas from WWZ. We live in a weird world.
