After being awarded a 10/10 from Gamespot and amassing a 93 average rating on Metacritic, it's probably fair to say that Divinity: Original Sin II is a pretty decent game, right?
Following the title's full PC release in September of this year, we've been yearning to play this supposed RPG masterpiece, and if an upcoming announcement in January is anything to go by, our wishes may soon become reality. In their latest Kickstarter update, the team gives word of a little announcement that will be made at next month's PAX South.
The PlayStation 4 port of the original took nearly a year to be revealed following the PC's June 2014 release, but with the much larger success of the second entry, Larian Studios may want to get the sequel on as many platforms as possible much quicker.

My girlfriend is going to go bee-ay-en-ay-en-ay-ess if Divinity II gets a release date in January. We can't wait for it.
Hyped for this. Just hope it arrives during a relatively dry period.
I'm hoping for a summer release during the usual game drought.
Totally did not get how to play it really wanted to i just quit and put it on the shelf. To big of a backlog.
For some reason I'm desperate to play this even though I've never played the first. I can't stop reading and watching stuff about it. Would it be worth giving the first a shot, it's pretty cheap on the store.
Never mind, just read the push square review of the first. I'm gonna get on it.
It's going to be Lootboxes being added to the franchise thanks to the latest craze.
I love how they are porting games like this , wish they would port more of the best pc steam games, like the endless legen and endless space.
@CFDennett Definitely worth a shot if you can find it cheap. The sequel sounds like an improvement overall but if you like what you're seeing then you should enjoy the first game too.
I only bought the PS4 "Enhanced edition" recently in a PSN sale, but unfortunately due to my game backlog I've not got around to starting it yet Going by the stellar reviews though I'm sure I'll get the sequel as well sometime next year (hopefully I should have played/finished the first game by then!)
@ShogunRok
Thanks bud, I've got a mini drought believe it or not and need something other than gran turismo. Reckon the first should do it.
Been waiting for this announcement, fingers crossed! A mate has been playing it on PC and I've been insanely jealous, it sounds fantastic.
