What Are You Playing This Weekend

As the outrageous August release schedule nears, this may be your last opportunity to clear out your backlog before it multiplies all over again. Is there anything that you’re desperate to cross off your list this weekend? Or are already on top of things and ready to try something new? You know the drill!

I've been training dinosaurs and recruiting gunslingers in PlayStation VR mash-up Dino Frontier. I can't say much about it due to an embargo, but let's just say I'm looking forward to playing more.

I'm eager to finish off my Diablo III Necromancer run at some point this weekend, and I may play a bit more of Mad Max, which I bought on sale the other week. It's an okay open world game from what I can tell, but the horrible thing is that its post-apocalyptic vibes just make me want to play Fallout 4 instead. God help me if I end up back there again.

It's a busy, busy, busy weekend of gaming for me. Going to swing through Pyre and Tacoma as much as I can, particularly the former since SuperGiant Games is just about my favorite developer. I'll also be checking in on the final LawBreakers beta to see if it might be a great alternative to playing Overwatch with my friends.

I'm going to continue my descent into madness as I mistime jumps and botch boss fights in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Other than that, I'm thinking of playing through Sonics 1 through 3 in preparation for Sonic Mania in a couple of weeks. I'm basically reverting to a 7-year-old version of myself.

After being away from my PS4 for a week I have some major catching up to do.  I will be checking out Doomfist in Overwatch, but also will be playing The Crew, Battlefield 1, and Diablo III.
