Roll7 makes unequivocally great games, and the OlliOlli creator has revealed its latest: Laser League. The new title from the award-winning British outfit is a sort of multiplayer-based isometric action game where you need to steal territory from wireframe foes – or something. The trailer’s very short and thus not particularly forthcoming, but we get the general gist.

While the release will launch in Early Access on the PC this summer, a PlayStation 4 launch is planned for 2018.

The trailer isn't very informative, as you say. Hopefully we will see more soon
If you slow the vid down to half speed it looks pretty fun.
I like arena games, but don't like off-brand Tron-style visuals. They always end up being eye-killers these days (anyone remember that ASCII, Brut@l?), mostly because bright neon lights against black backgrounds tends to do that.
Not sure about this. And with a lot of arena games coming up from indies, like Games of Glory, Hyperbrawl Tournament, Blade Ballet or Metagalactic Blitz, I don't know if this will be any better or worse than any of those. I grew up with stuff like Ball Breakers, Blast Chamber and Pit Ball, so I like seeing more entries in the genre. I just hope this plays better than it looks.
I guess they're hoping for Rocket League with lasers... could be cool.
